TYPICAL VOLUNTEER ROLES
(You can apply to serve virtual, in-person or both where applicable)
Coach/Choreographer: Hip-Hop Majorette Dance (Saturdays 1pm-4pm) or (Thursdays 7pm-8pm Virtual)
Assistant Coach: Stomp & Shake Cheerleading (Saturdays 1pm-4pm) or (Thursdays 6pm-7pm Virtual)
Coach: Step Team (Saturdays 1pm-4pm) or (Fridays 6pm-7pm Virtual)
Assistant Coach: Basketball (Saturdays 1pm-4pm)
Coach: Drumline (Saturdays 1pm-4pm) or (Virtual any weeknight)
Coach/Choreographer: Drum Majors (Saturdays 1pm-4pm) or (Virtual any weeknight)
Stroll Coach/Choreographer: Sorority (Saturdays 1pm-4pm) or (Virtual any weeknight)
Young Professionals Committee: College Students (Virtual/Monthly)(There is a $25 annual Give/Get Ask).
Executive Board of Directors (Virtual/Quarterly meetings)(There is a $250 annual Give/Get Ask)
Fitness Coach (Lead 30-minute weeknight virtual stretching/conditioning sessions for boys or girls)
SoulTrybe (Virtual): The SoulTrybe is a virtual community that we are building in support of our young people. You will be the first to know about upcoming initiatives and will be able to give your advice when we encounter challenges, or when we need your advocacy. You will receive a monthly email with upcoming events where you can support, as well as other opportunities to volunteer. Your first act of service is to follow the athletes across our social media accounts (TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram) as applicable and like/repost as much as you can). We also ask that you purchase a ticket on behalf of a child to participate in high visibility events such as NBA games.

1. Complete form on this page.
2. We respond with information specific to the role and ask if you would like to interview. You will receive the volunteer application.
3. Arrange 30-minute interview.
4. Submission of application and references and background check (depending on the role)
5. Onboarding and coaching begin.
